Back in March of this year, HoneyXO Cosmetics sent me some samples to try, and use at a Spring Fling Party I had attended.  I gave one girl a makeover at the party, and then also tested them myself thereafter. These products arrived in a envelope mailer, and were neatly packed in a cute, gold rose drawstring pouch.  Also enclosed where some gorgeous business cards, displaying the CEO, Honey, herself modeling the makeup in different looks.
I was sent eight shadow samples (Chocolate, Butter Creme, Just Win Baby, Forest Nymph, Chantilly, Sweet Nothings, Glass Slipper, and Ever After), a lip gloss sample (Hula Girl), and a lipstick sample (Violet Shock).

                                                 ABOUT THE COMPANY....
HoneyXO Cosmetics, is a makeup company run  by Honey, a stay at  home mother, professional photographer, and beauty blogger and youtube guru.  At one time it was known as I-Candy Couture, run by two sisters.  However Honey's younger sister decided to pursue another career.  Honey took over the company, and has been running it these past two years.  Occasionally, third party items have been brought in, but the majority of the makeup and jewelry are created by Honey herself (lipsticks, lipglosses, jewelry, loose mineral cosmetics, ect...).  Her passion and inspirations are displayed in the quality of her products.  Even some of the cast on Jeresylicious use her jewelry and cosmetics.

Honey XO's products are not only affordable but made with love.  I strive to provide my customers and clients with the best possible products and keep my customers happy.  All items sold at Honey XO are handcrafted by me,... Don't forget to add a little Glitter and Sparkle to your day! "

What I received for testing and my thoughts...
Even though the matte shadows appear to be a crumb like texture, the mineral shadows are velvety soft and apply smoothly on face and lids.  I truly enjoyed trying all the shadows for this review.  The pigmentation for all these shadows are most vibrant and easily blend able.  I noticed fallout with the mineral shadow Sweet Nothings, however I still maintained a good color payoff.  It is gorgeous.
An hour or so after I applied Forest Nymph in a tutorial, I noticed a lot of the shimmer had disappeared.  I talked with Honey about it, and she said it was supposed to be a matte, but if I wanted to retain some of that shimmer, I could probably foil it.  Which, I wore it that way when I filmed the review for these products on my youtube channel.
I have tried some of the shadows on one eye with a base and primer and on the other eye without. While the one with primer and base still looked vibrant at the end of the day, the other still retained a decent amount of color.  With each look I have tried using all the shadows, I have noticed no creasing at all.
Her shadows are sold in sample baggies for one dollar.

I love this matte white!! It is perfect to buff out dramatic dark smokeys.
Picture
This is a matte dark eggplant color. I think it works well for contouring and for lining the lash line.
Picture
I love using glass slipper (a lighter purple matte) for a transition color, to begin deepening a nice smokey.
Picture
Chocolate is a rich matte brown, and is perfect for lining lashes and for deeping sultry eyes in the outer v and crease.
Picture
I prefer to use this matte shadow/bronzer as a bronzer. It's just lovely for my natural everyday looks!
Picture
Of the new shadows I have tried for this review, this is one of my favorites. Such a sweet taupe.
Picture
Shimmery at first, but then Forest Nymph turns into a lovely green matte. I love how this brightens my hazel green eyes!

This copper metallic tone shadow is just breathtaking! Excellent pigmentation!!!

I actually have a full sized Hula girl lipgloss already that I had received in sample size. My full size is nearly gone, as it happens to be one of my favorite lipglosses from HoneyXO Cosmetics.  The sample didn't have a scent, but the full sized one I have used a lot, has a nice coconut smell. I am nuts about it.  The lipgloss is very moisturizing and is a nice pink nude color-most flattering, I believe.
The Violet Shock lipstick is well named; a shocking bright purple with a powerful pastel punch that will amp up any simplistic makeup look.  I used this lipstick in an ombre lip, in tandem with a pink lip crayon.  It turned out very well. As the lips were very bold, I kept the eye makeup very neutral, so my makeup didn't look too over done.  However, I am brainstorming of what other eye makeup looks that will compliment such a beautiful bright shade of lipstick.
This lipstick is very creamy and moisturizing on the lips.  It doesn't dry out my lips at all, nor does it cake into the lines of my lips.

Her lipsticks and glosses are sold in clam shell sample jars for three dollars.

My makeup that I wore filming this review. HoneyXO Cosmetics Products used: Forest Nymph, Trax, Just Keep Swimming. All shadows were foiled.
I love all the products that were sent. Other than the excessive fallout from Sweet Nothings, I really have no complaints. The shadows' quality is spot on- good pigmentation, is non-creasing, and are long lasting. The lipstick and lipgloss are moisturizing, lovely colors, and non-drying.  I am very pleased with the quality displayed by these products.
Thank you, Honey, at Honeyxo Cosmetics , for sending these products for me to try!

I RECEIVED THE MARY KAY LASH PRIMER FOR TESTING AND REVIEW COURTESY OF INFLUENSTER AND MARY KAY COSMETICS.

In mid April, I received three items to test from Parnevu.  Parnevu is a hair product company whose mission to sell quality hair products to those with very dry, and/or damaged hair and/or dry scalp with dandruff.  They have two collections to aid those who want healthy, moisturized locks and dander control--the Tea Tree Collection ("Known primarily for its anit-bacterial properties, tea tree oil is a natural treatment that eliminates the itching and flaking associated with dandruff." Statement found on Parnevu's website.) and the Extra Dry Collection ("formulated to moisturize even the driest of hair with a unique blend of up to 14 conditioning agents, including coconut oils and palm nuts." Statement found on Parnevu's website.)
Picture
I was sent a salon shampoo, a leave-in conditioner, and a hair mayonnaise, all for extra dry hair to test.
Picture
The products arrived in a large card board box with newspaper and green wrapping paper. Every thing arrived in excellent condition.  I also found two fliers that spoke of their two collections.

Picture
The extra dry salon shampoo is most cleansing, and does brings back a salon like experience with the scent.
My first initial use of the shampoo,  I was a bit disappointed with the lather, or lack thereof. However, once I rinsed it out, and reapplied again, it did lather very nicely.  After the final rinse, my hair was left feeling clean and fresh, but I did not feel as if my hair was stripped. The natural oils from the shampoo, restored luster and moisture back into my locks.  As I do not hardly use any hot tools, being that my hair is dry already, I am very selective when using a shampoo.  I need something that does not strip my hair, causing it be even more dry.  I apply this product to my hair, working it in with my fingertips, all over my scalp, and I follow with a rinse and then repeat.
I use this shampoo now for its natural cleansing abilities-not for scent. If I want my hair to smell fragrant, I use another shampoo in lieu with this one.  This product sells for five dollars at their online store.

Picture
My leave-in conditioner works amazing! It moisturizes best on dry hair, I think.
I remember using a Parnevu leave-in conditioner about four years ago. I found it on sale when Kroger bought out our local Scott's.  Until now, I had forgotten the name of the brand of the leave-in. I recognized the packaged tubs on their website. This product is absolutely amazing. I hope to buy it once my current one is used up.  After my hair is completely dry after washing it, I like to apply a generous amount from root to tip. On occasion, if I want easy beachy waves, I will braid my hair after using the leave-in. The next morning I wake to soft, moisturized, wavy locks.  This leave-in conditioner is also sold for five dollars.
Picture
Pure magic!!!
Despite its unseemly appearance, the hair mayonnaise in this tub is phenomenal.  I like to use it anywhere from once a week to every few weeks.  This product leaves my hair soft and moisturized. I feel, if it is rinsed out thoroughly after use, once my hair is dried it actually feels fuller.  I apply a good amount after shampooing to my hair. Then I leave it in for five or ten minutes while I take a good soak. I follow that with a very thorough rinse. One of the options on the directions for use is to apply to hair daily, and leave it in.  I don't like using it in this manner, because I have found it difficult to wash completely out later, but I do enjoy using it as a deep conditioning treatment (while hair is wet to rinse out thereafter).  I would like to make note, that the lid on this one does not close as tightly as my leave-in conditioner and it pops back open.
I plan on replacing this product when it has been used up.  I love a good deep treatment, and such is always a nice little pick me when I need it. I know my hair is being restored and nourished when I use this hair mayonnaise. I am thrilled to have it incorporated in my hair routine.  This product has even made my July Favorites.
The Parnevu Hair Mayonnaise is sold for seven dollars.  The description for this product states (on their website) that it "provides intense rejuvenating therapy specially formulated for weak, damaged or over processed hair. Enriched with olive oil, egg protein and herbs to promote healthy hair and scalp. It works from within the hair shaft to help strengthen fragile roots, mend split ends, and moisturize dry brittle hair."
I would definitely recommend these products. I am most impressed with the quality and the amount of each product for such an affordable price.  It has been a pleasure testing them; they have made lovely additions to my hair care routine.
I would like to send out a big thank you to Kat at Parnevu for sending me these items, and to destne146 on youtube for referring me to them.

<3 Beth.

I decided to keep this look as basic as possible, ergo doubling up some of the products for multiple functions; such as the mascara as eyeliner, and likewise the lipstick for blush.

How I created this look:

1. I applied, with the Mary Kay Foundation/Cream shadow brush, my Mary Kay cream eye shadow in Violet Storm. I patted on a generous amount on my lid, close to the lash line and then faded it out from my crease a little up wards. Thus, creating a subtle "smokey" effect.

2. Next taking a eyeliner brush, I dip into my Mary Kay Lash Love Lengthening Mascara and use it (very quickly as it dries faster than actual eyeliner) along my upper lash line, outer v, and slightly a fourth of the way in on my bottom lash line.

3. After carefully using my lash curler, I then reached for my Mary Kay Lash Primer. I pump the wand vigorously to collect quite a bit of product, before coating my lashes.

4. Thereafter, I again take my Mary Kay Lash Love Lengthening Mascara, in I <3 Black, and apply several coats to my lashes, blinking my lashes into the fine bristles. As this wand doesn't help much in regards to thickening the lashes, I used more mascara than I normally do with others. I also used it on my lower lashes to give the appearance of a dolled up eye.

5.  My cheeks, being already flushed, I only used a tidbit of my Mary Kay Lipstick in Rose Cherie (a sweet pink tone) and gingerly applied it with my fingers, to the apples of my cheeks.

6. I moisturized my lips with a lipbalm, and then with the same lipstick smoothed color onto my lips-finishing this night look.

When a sweetie subbie of mine, LesChampis, asked almost a month ago, that I do a "Saturday Night Shimmer Look" for a tutorial, I was uncertain how I really wanted to go about it.  I remembered one of my favorite music videos I liked to watch when I first started doing makeup tutorials on a previous channel. In this video, Edward Maya and Mia Martina - Stereo Love,  the young lady had a bronzed gold cateye. I have always wanted to do that particular look, but put my own spin on it.
After playing around with my Color Theory, I came up with this look. It is everything I imagine a glitzy Saturday Night makeup look would be.

I love pairing dramatic eyes with a nude lip, but a red lip would look just as refined.

Only a day after filming my perfume collection for my youtube channel, I decided to thin down my selection even more. After doing so, I realized the long, gold trimmed vanity tray was really too big for what I had left. Even more so, I didn't like how the gold frame was so close to the edges of my vanity; I thought there was a possibility, when walking by, I could knock it off. The legs on the tray were scratching the finish on my vanity badly, as well.
I was looking for a manual for my father today, when I rediscovered a round metal mirrored vanity tray in a box. It was the perfect size to organize my fragrances. However, I became quite dismayed when I saw the rust spots on it from careless usage in the past. Should I throw it away? No, I didn't want to. It was such a pretty tray, regardless; then it hit me. My mother gave me a huge sheet of Victorian styled scrap booking stickers. I could use them to cover up the unsightly rust-thus, saving it from disposal.
So, I set to work applying them in a slightly, random assortment. It soon became apparent that I would not have near enough to cover the entire tray. I then proceeded to only cover part of it and the rest I embossed with a couple of decorative strips and only a few decals.
I am very pleased with what I accomplished. I saved my tray, and was able to hang the other to brighten my little corner of the room.

Picture"Pink" has such beautiful pink and tiny gold shimmers in it...
I was thrilled to have received a lip gloss in my Ipsy bag a few months back.  Little did I know it would become one of my most reached for lipglosses this summer.  Juice beauty did an awesome job with this product.  At first I was a little worried of how I would like it. Once before I tried a lipstick from this same company in an Influenster vox box, and did not like the product at all. It was too dry and would not spread evenly.  However, this gloss delivered!  When I initially opened it and took a "wiff" I was delighted with the fruity smell. I applied it, and it felt wonderfully smooth on my lips.  It didn't give too much of a color pay off. The shade comes close to matching my lips in a way, but it enhances it.  It is not sticky, surprisingly as other lipglosses often are. I can feel the oils in this product, and they seem to moisturize my lips very well. It lasts for a few hours, but if I am drinking or eating anything, of course I will need to reapply. My lipgloss made my June Favorites last month on my youtube channel. I love this product, and am very glad Ipsy selected it for me.

Last Wednesday, in the wee hours of the morning, I started having really intense contractions.  Because I was induced with my eldest, I just chalked them up to braxton hicks just getting worse.  I couldn't sleep, however.  My body racked with sporadic pain for a few hours. Around five am rolled around and I felt a jolt; it wasn't the baby either.  After running to the bathroom, I messaged  my friend Honey (also a mommy blogger at http://www.honeygirlsworld.com), on facebook, as she lives in Hawaii; and being six hours behind us, I knew she might be on. After prodding her with some questions, she advised I call the hospital and go.  Feeling the contractions becoming more intolerable, I was glad to do so.  Not long after my arrival, they did some labwork. Sure enough, my water did break, as I suspected, but didn't quite know for sure.
There was talk about a possible c-section, as my cervix wasn't soft enough, the baby still up too high, and my contractions were a mimicry of some sort. They weren't the real thing.   Yet, as the morning dragged on, they found that my cervix did soften by fifty percent, but my blood pressure was still skyrocketing, and the babies heart beat kept slowing.  Around three o'clock they checked me again, the nurse informed me in a hurry, that the baby was lowered already and it was time.  I had wondered if it was time before she came in the room, as I felt the urge to push.
After four really good pushes (and small ones I did out of rhythm, being impatient and wanting to be done) the doctor pulled her out and laid her on my stomach at three-thirty pm.  A wave of emotion washed over me; very much like the same I felt the moment my eldest was born.  It is indescribable.
Another beautiful baby girl!  Alexandra weighed six pounds and ten ounces- almost a pound smaller than Victoria when she was born. So tiny!

Picture
.I am so glad to finally meet this doll.  As my due date was approaching rapidly at the end, my anticipation was growing.  I am already getting to know her-my little night owl with an appetite! And she is quite the tease.  Lexi has a habit of grinning at me now, but when I tell daddy to come and see, immediately the smiles are replaced with a blank expression, when he approaches.

Dear Tori didn't really know what to make of Lexi at first.  Now she fondly refers to her as "sisters."  We are still trying to teach her Lexi's name.  Following the new babe's cries, Baby Blue exclaims, "ooh nooo!"
My heart is full; I am so blessed.
